Do you remember the theme song to Cheers? “Everybody knows your name.” That is the type of church that you will find at the Vineyard. It won’t be long before everyone will be greeting you by your first name.
The reason for that is that we intentionally make room for friendships to develop. We believe that you cannot live out your Christian faith alone. In fact we believe that God desires for us to be part of a community of believers. It is easy to love people from a distance watching TV from the comforts of our homes. However the real rubber meets the road when we engage in real authentic relationships with one another face to face.
Here are 3 of the opportunities we have to develop real friendships.
Every Sunday before and after service we gather for coffee, tea, juice, snacks and much more importantly great conversation. This is a great opportunity to make new friends.
When you come visit our church, make sure you say Hi to Pastor Duke. He will have a cup of coffee with you.
The ladies of the church meet on the 4th Sunday of every month after church for a great time of supporting one another through prayer, conversations, and emotional support.

We have brought the small group concept back to the church. We have an informal question and answer style adult Sunday school.
