We are a diverse group of people brought together by God to learn to live out our lives together as an authentic expression of Christian spirituality. We do this by encouraging people to draw closer to Jesus, train them to live their lives with Jesus in their homes, workplaces, and communities, and then release them to go do the what Jesus did. We are involved in our community, doing service projects, compassion ministry, strengthening marriages, equipping parents, etc. We have sent a flurry of both long-term and short-term missionaries to Costa Rica, The Philippines, and Senegal, and West Africa. Our greatest desire is to fulfill the mission of Jesus, learning to love well and thus expanding the Kingdom of God on earth.
OUR VISION AND BELIEFS
The vision of Mid-Peninsula Vineyard is to learn how to receive and extend the love, acceptance, and forgiveness of God in our journey towards authentic Christian spirituality. This begins with learning to see ourselves as God sees us. To accomplish our vision we will provide encouraging celebrations, various small groups to provide training and close personal relationships, and activities to reach out into our communities. Our desire is to be the hands of Jesus to a hurting world, that Christ would make his home in our hearts as we trust in him. That our roots would grow down into God’s love and keep us strong. And that we would have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. That we would experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then we will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God and then take what we have received and give it away freely to our families, friends, communities and the world.
